CRUSH SCHOOL

I blog on Brain-Based Learning, Metacognition, EdTech, and Social-Emotional Learning. I am the author of the Crush School Series of Books, which help students understand how their brains process information and learn. I also wrote The Power of Three: How to Simplify Your Life to Amplify Your Personal and Professional Success, but be warned that it's meant for adults who want to thrive and are comfortable with four letter words.

Physics Final Haiku

Physics Final haiku

Yo!

It's been a while since I posted a poem or rap or anything artistic, so without further ado I give you 3 haiku (perfect 5-7-5 structure) submitted by a English-major-turned-Physics-teacher-perhaps-wannabe-Administrator tattoo-clad purveyor of awesomeness Lee Wignall!

He leans in and shakes

his head and then the table

as he erases.

I don't remember...

Hooke's Law. What was that again?

She pictures pirates.

If you squint real hard

Sometimes the answer is clear.

Just wear your glasses.

Thanks for reading/looking and I hope you enjoyed these haikus. Please share it with other educators and perhaps it will bring a smile to their faces. Please SIGN UP for my NEWSLETTER if you would like to receive more such pieces in the near future and other articles on brain-based learning and connecting with students as that is what I specialize in.

And Remember: You have the power to change the world. Use it often.
